Fayetteville State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate level degrees. FSU also is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (formerly NCATE), and Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), in addition to having institutional membership in professional organizations.
