DAISY Awards
What is the DAISY Faculty and DAISY in Training award?
Have you taught a student that demonstrates resilience, exceeds expectations, and provides high quality care? Have you recognized a faculty member that consistently goes over and beyond to ensure that our overall mission is accomplished?
The DAISY award was established to symbolize extraordinary compassion, leadership, and excellence within our profession.
DAISY in training nominations should clearly convey how a nursing student demonstrated committment to the nursing profession, advocated on behalf of patients, and upheld Jean Watson's conceptual framework that guide our nursing program. DAISY faculty nominations should convey how a nursing faculty member has served as a mentor, role model, and inspired others. The nominee should be a positive influence that motivates others and demonstrates an enthusiam for teaching and service.
