Biography

  • B.A., History, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University

Dr. Adkins has held teaching positions at the University of Cincinnati, Central State University, a predoctoral fellow at the College of Wooster, and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Virginia. Currently, he is working on a monograph entitled The Life and Works of Susan Wright Sampson: Race, Gender, and the Pursuit of Universal Education, 1850-1933.
