There are many professional, academic, and social clubs/organizations at Fayetteville State University that we encourage the students to join. Several are specifically designed for students within the Broadwell College of Business and Economics, which are listed below:
The goal of the Accounting Society is to enhance and prepare students for a successful career in the accounting profession. We serve the students by providing opportunities that will assist in networking opportunities, internships, co-ops, and job offers.

AITP@FSU is a Student Chapter of National AITP at Fayetteville State University. The Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) offers opportunities for Information Technology (IT) leadership and education through partnerships with industry, government and academia. AITP provides quality IT related education, information on relevant IT issues and forums for networking with experienced peers and other IT professionals for nearly 9,000 members. AITP is the Information Technology professional organization of choice for providing leadership opportunities, professional development and personal growth.
Objectives:
- To develop a better understanding of the nature and functions of information technology and information systems within the university and neighboring community
- To promote sound general principles in information technology and to study technical methods with a view to their improvement.
- To disseminate generally, by all appropriate means, all fundamentally sound principles and methods of information technology.
- To supply to its members' information of the most current methods, and assist them in solving their individual problems.
- To foster among students a better understanding of the vital business role of information technology, the proper relationship of information technology to management and the necessity for a professional attitude among information technology professionals in their approach to an understanding and application of the principles underlying the science of information technology.

Broadwell Leadership Institute or BLI is a new organization of top-performing business students. BLI members received specialized soft skills training in professional branding/resume writing, interview skills, leadership, business attire, and negotiation. BLI members receive free BB&T Emerging Leaders Certification (ELC) Training through which they earn a valuable and marketable leadership credential. BLI members also participate in one-on-one corporate mentorship, including job shadowing and mock interviewing.

DECA Inc, formerly Distributive Education Clubs of America, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit career and technical student organization (CTSO) with more than 215,000 members in all 50 U.S. states, Washington, DC; Canada, China, Germany, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Spain. The United States Congress, the United States Department of Education and state, district and international departments of education authorize DECA's programs.
The organization's mission statement is DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. The four components of the organization's Comprehensive Learning Program are that DECA integrates into classroom instruction, applies learning, connects to business, and promotes competition. DECA prepares the next generation to be academically prepared, community-oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders.

The mission of the Fayetteville State University Healthcare Administration Society is to further the practice of healthcare administration by highlighting opportunities and careers in the field, discussing improvements to the program and organizing events to advance the interests of students in the program and the discipline at large. This will be achieved through the interaction of students, faculty and elected officers. The members of the society, guided by the elected officers, will administer the activities of the society with the direct assistance of a member of the faculty acting in an advisory capacity.
The objectives of the Fayetteville State University Healthcare Administration Society are:
1. To provide a forum within our academic environment for the exchange of ideas, information, and knowledge between the student members and the business community.
2. To become better acquainted with the specialties and current changes in the healthcare administration and healthcare information technology professions. Active membership in the Fayetteville State University HAS shall be limited to Fayetteville State University students with a major or minor in healthcare administration or a concentration in healthcare management.

Enactus is "a community of students, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustained world." It is social entrepreneurship in action. As of 2016, there were 457 active Enactus teams, 16,607 active students working on 909 community projects.
In addition to community projects, Enactus members gain benefits through project management training, leadership development, virtual and physical career fairs, and regional and national competitions.

PHI BETA LAMBDA is the national organization for all students in post-secondary schools and colleges enrolled in programs designed to develop vocational and professional competencies and who accept the purpose of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) and subscribe to its creed. The purpose of the organization is to:
"...provide opportunities for post-secondary and college students to develop vocational competencies for business and office occupations and business teacher education.
