Living Learning Communities
Choose to live on campus at Fayetteville State University and be a big part of a small community. Our Living Learning Communities (LLCs) bring together students with a shared identity, interest, or academic area into unique living and learning environments. LLCs combine all the opportunities of the greater university within the benefits of a small close-knit community.
Students who participate have the unique opportunity to learn where they live, meet friends with similar majors and interests, and enjoy special events designed specifically for their LLC. This aims to transform your residential setting into an active, supportive, and exciting place to live and learn!
We recognize the importance of life skills for the employability of our students. The LLCs will provide programs and activities to promote your development and increase student competencies in critical thinking and problem solving, communication skills, teamwork and collaboration, leadership and professional development, civic engagement and social responsibility, and wellness.

THE SISTER-HOOD
The all-women living learning environment at FSU provides robust programming in a hall that meets the needs of the women within its walls. The academic programs, community-service projects, and resources encourage solidarity and unity among Broncos of all backgrounds, cultivating a broader understanding of social issues within a global context. The goal of this program is to increase student success by offering a community of peers to provide academic support, mentorship, and co-curricular programming to enhance career readiness.
THE BROTHER-HOOD
The all-men living learning environment at FSU provides robust programming in a hall that meets the needs of the men within its walls. Eligibility Criteria
Students must be:
- Full-time students admitted for Fall '22 and registered with 15 credit hours.
- First-time Freshmen living on campus and first-generation college students.
