NC Flex is a benefits program administered by The NC Office of State Human Resources to provide a variety of plans to meet the health insurance and income protection needs of you and your family. The cost of coverage is paid through payroll deduction before taxes are withheld. This reduces your taxable income, which in turn reduces your state and federal income taxes, and your Federal Insurance Contributions Act ("FICA").
