Fayetteville State University uses "Flag the Hazard" reporting tool to identify, document, and eliminate all health and safety hazards. If you see a hazards, take the following steps:
1. Immediately notify your supervisor of any known health and/or safety hazards.
2. If the hazard is not resolved internally with your supervisor, complete the hazard report found on https://oshr.nc.gov/flag-hazard. Be as detailed as possible in the report.
3. The EHS Officer/Professional will get back with you in a reasonable time frame regarding the hazard.

All chemicals used, stored, and handled at Fayetteville State University must have a Safety Data Sheet (SDS). All SDS's shall be sent or emailed (Safety@UNCFSU.edu) to the Environmental Health & Safety Officer / Professional for electronical filing. All SDS's can be found by:

2. Clicking the Documents tab
3. Clicking the SDS folder
4. Manual searching for the SDS by scrolling through the SDS database or typing the name of the chemical in the "Search this Library" search box

All environmental health and safety training is conducted through the Canvas Platform. Email Safety@uncfsu.edu or call (910) 672-1827 the EHS Officer/Professional to be added to the Canvas platform.
