February 17, 2017: MRS FSU Chapter received an award from MRS in the amount of $999.34 to support the MRS Chapter activities. The effort was led by Ms. Chibu Umerah, the President of the MRS FSU Chapter.
November 29-December 4, 2015, Boston Massachusetts: Dr. Carla Raineri Padilla and Ms. Chiba Umerah (undergraduate) received the Third Place Award in iMatSci Innovator Demonstrations. Project title: Vivex-cel Wound Care Recovery Device.
