Ray Thomas
He is a graduate (May 1989) of the historic Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications Radio & TV, with a minor in Communication Studies. He is a member of Who's Who Among Students in American College's and Universities. He is also a Founding Father of Epsilon Omega Psi "The E Men" Emerson College's first Multicultural Fraternity established in 1989.
He has been in Broadcasting for over 30 years. During his career he's held numerous positions: Consultant, General Manager, Operations Manager, Brand Manager, Program Director, Director of Production, Adjunct Professor, On-Air Personality in all day-parts. Former, Evening Personality at Raleigh, NC's historic WRAL-FM "MIX 101.5 and is the former Brand Manager/Program Director and Afternoon talent for KISS 107.7FM (Beasley Broadcasting) and Power 107 (Cumulus Broadcasting) in Fayetteville, NC. Currently (2009 - Present), he's the Broadcast & Emerging Media Manager (Managing all equipment for the Communication Department) and Operations/General Manager/Advisor for Fayetteville State University's Student Radio Station BRONCO-iRADIO.com (Responsible for teaching students all aspects ofbroadcasting, equipment usage, relative industry positions and operational techniques. Designer and General Manager of the New BRONCOiRADIO Pro & Recording Studios at Fayetteville State University. He is also the Host of The RayTHOMAS Variety Show Live® (The RTVS Live®) on Bronco-iradio.com.
He is also President and CEO ofRayTHOMAS TheBRAND CONSULTANCY, LLC., (Est. 1994 - Present) a multimedia company that provides Consulting to numerous businesses: Audio and Voice production for Radio, TV, Film, The WEB as well as On-Hold Messaging Services, Public Address Announcing, Hosting & Photography and Live Streaming Production. RTC is also a trailblazer in the entertainment arena by providing Strategic Branding/Marketing to various groups and developing new talent, as well as Concert and Nightclub Promotions. He has also co-owned and consulted numerous nightclubs (Houston City Limits, IMAGES, Club FLAVA, REMIX, The Red Roper, Los COMALES, Club GLO, Club Vibe, Metropolitan Ballroom, The Big Apple & Club SURGE to name a few).
He is also Co-Founder and Designer of RayWEAR CARBONE', an Urban Custom Made Clothier with the parent company CARBONE' based in Australia.
