Miss Fayetteville State University Scholarship Pageant & Mr. Fayetteville State University Scholarship Competition
The 27th Annual Miss Fayetteville State University (FSU) Scholarship Pageant and the 16th Mr. Fayetteville State University Scholarship Competition will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Seabrook Auditorium on the campus of FSU.
This year's pageant will celebrate the rich culture of the 90's both in music and television. The competition promises to be entertaining and exciting!
Miss Fayetteville State University, Alexis McNeal and Mr. Fayetteville State University, Ransford Bellamy will relinquish their crowns to one of the eight contestants. The contestants vying for the coveted crown of Miss Fayetteville State University are: Neysa Wellington, Tanisha Lipford, Monique Edwards, Ayanna Taylor, and Erykah Briggs-White. The contestants vying for the coveted title of Mr. Fayetteville State University are: Tristan Yanez, Shelton Davis, and Glenwood Avery. To be eligible to compete, each contestant must possess a high scholastic average and be in good standing with the University. The contestants will compete in six categories: interview, athletic wear, talent, on-stage knowledge and awareness, evening formal wear, and the student vote.
As in previous years, the crowd-pleasing opening number will feature the reigning queen and king, the FSU Royal Court, pageant dancers, and the contestants. A host of exciting entertainment will also be showcased throughout the evening.
