FSU to hold Mr. and Miss Fayetteville State University Scholarship Competition and Pageant
Fayetteville, NC, April 2019 - The 28th Annual Miss Fayetteville State University Scholarship Pageant and the 17th Mr. Fayetteville State University Scholarship Competition will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Seabrook Auditorium on the campus of FSU.
This year's pageant will highlight the Hollywood hills. The competition promises to be entertaining and exciting!
Miss Fayetteville State University, Ayanna Taylor and Mr. Fayetteville State University, Glenwood Avery will relinquish their crowns to one of the six contestants. The contestants vying for the coveted crown of Miss Fayetteville State University are: Aysa Barginere, Kristina Bryant, Maya Humphrey and Asia McNeill. The contestants vying for the coveted title of Mr. Fayetteville State University are: Keyondre Currence and William Cumbo. To be eligible tocompete, each contestant must possess a high scholastic average and be in good standing with the University. The contestants will compete in six categories: interview, athletic wear, talent, on-stage knowledge and awareness, evening formal wear, and the student vote.
As in previous years, the crowd-pleasing opening number will feature the reigning queen and king, the FSU Royal Court, pageant dancers, and the contestants. A host of exciting entertainment will also be showcased throughout the evening.
