High School Students Invited to Fayetteville State University Fall Preview
Fayetteville, N.C. (October 19, 2022) —Fayetteville State University (FSU) welcomes high school juniors and seniors, as well as transfer students, to the University’s Fall Preview Event on Saturday, Oct. 22. Prospective students can tour FSU’s campus, including academic departments; connect with resources available to support success; and connect with student organizations.
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Rudolph Jones Student Center before sessions on Financing My Bronco Education-financial aid and student accounts. Attendees will also learn more about the NC Promise Tuition Plan; My Bronco Experience; ask questions of current FSU students; and hear about Destination Degree for adult learners, transfers and military-affiliated students. Sessions all begin at 11 a.m. followed by a campus tour, and then an academic and student organization fair.
“This is the perfect opportunity for students to see all that FSU has to offer,” said Darnette Hall, Ed.D., senior assistant director of Undergraduate Admissions. “We encourage high school students as well as adult learners and military-affiliated students to come and picture themselves on campus, and then learn about all the resources available to make them successful once they arrive.”
The event wraps up North Carolina’s College Application Week, when students can apply to several North Carolina colleges and universities, including FSU, for free. For more information on College Application Week, click here.
