Fayetteville State University Artists Nominated for BroadwayWorld Awards
Students and faculty in Fayetteville State University’s (FSU) Department of Performing and Fine Arts have been nominated for BroadwayWorld Regional Awards. BroadwayWorld is the largest theatre site on the internet covering Broadway, the West End and beyond to 100 US cities, and 50 countries worldwide.

Nominations include:
- Best Production (professional) nod for the Sweet Tea Shakespeare - Honest Pint Theatre Company production of "King Lear" that was presented in September
- Associate Professor Avis Hatcher-Puzzo was nominated for Best Director for her production of "The Royale" at Burning Coal Theatre.
- Student Jeremiah Packer was nominated for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his work in the Cape Fear Regional Theatre's "The Little Mermaid."
