Several Fayetteville State University (FSU) faculty members were honored recently for Outstanding Online and Hybrid Course Design. The purpose of the awards is to recognize and celebrate high quality and innovative course design across the university.
Several Fayetteville State University (FSU) faculty members were honored recently for Outstanding Online and Hybrid Course Design. The purpose of the awards is to recognize and celebrate high quality and innovative course design across the university.
Criterion used for the award include:
- Meets the Quality Matter standards
- Provides clear expectations for online and face-to-face components
- Promotes student engagement and community building
- Provides effective communication
- Incorporates effective learning materials and strategies
- Contains measurable learning outcomes and effective assessments
- Utilizes Canvas tools effectively
- Incorporates educational technology that enhances learning
The awards were presented during the second Outstanding Course Design Showcase sponsored by the Online Education Advisory Committee and the Office of Faculty Development.
