OFD Faculty and Staff
Dr. Bonnie Grohe serves as the Director of Faculty Development and Online Education at Fayetteville State University. In this role she has led the development and implementation of numerous faculty programming initiatives and processes focused on teaching excellence across all modalities. These include consultations, workshops, certification programs, quality assurance processes, academic integrity processes, instructional technology, adaptive courseware exploration and adoption, communities of practice, faculty mentoring and a faculty recognition and awards program. Dr. Grohe has also led efforts to support prospective and new online students through the development and delivery of an online student orientation program and website dedicated to online students' resource needs. She also led the development of compliance processes that enabled FSU (Fayetteville State University) to join and take part in NC-SARA.
As an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, she is actively involved in online course design and teaching and learning. Her research interests include evidence based best practices that enhance teaching and learning, crime prevention, perceptions of crime and fear of crime.

Dr. Hailey Gregory has over 16 years of experience in higher education as a distance education specialist, online coordinator and assistant director of faculty development and online education. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing professional development programming for faculty and students, online and hybrid course quality assurance processes, and assessment of educational technologies. She believes students gain knowledge best when they are actively engaged in the learning process, which is best facilitated by an interactive and engaging learning environment.
She holds an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from Fayetteville State University, a Masters of Education in Educational Technology from Lesley University, and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Fuller has 16 years of experience in higher education as an Instructional Designer, Training Coordinator, Technology Support Analyst, and Associate Registrar. She believes that educators are stewards of the development and success of student learning. Student engagement is a crucial component to learning success. Therefore, it is essential for students to feel free to engage and be creative during the learning process. She says, "My goal is to provide faculty and students with all the tools needed to succeed. My personal work ethic and development goals push me to continually pursue training and development opportunities."
Dr. Claudette Fuller is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at Liberty University and Southern Wesleyan University. She holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology from Keiser University, a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from North Carolina A&T State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems Management from Campbell University.

Mr. James heard has been with the university over 16 years as lead ITV Technican, Media technician and Instructional Technologist. Mr. Heard has a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Fayetteville State University. He provides invaluable technology training and support with the units various educational technologies including support with Canvas.

Ms. Kathy Hargett serves as the Administrative Support Associate for the Office of Faculty Development and Digital Measures administrator, with over 15 years of adminstrative experience with the state of North Carolina.
