Fayetteville State University Sees Increase in Fall 2019 Enrollment

Fall 2019 enrollment at Fayetteville State University (FSU) increased from 6,318 student in fall 2018 to 6,551 students in fall 2019.

"This is a great news for Fayetteville State University," said Acting Chancellor Peggy Valentine. "This increase in enrollment demonstrates that students and parents are aware of the quality and affordable education that we have to offer here. FSU is a tremendous bargain, but at the same time offers an education that is second to none. We are proud of this and we are looking to make even greater strides in terms of enrollment and the experiences we offer prospective and current students."
FSU is one of 10 institutions in the 17-campus University of North Carolina System that saw an increase in enrollment. Overall, the UNC System saw a 1.3% increase in enrollment, bringing the total number of students to 239,987. Last year the system had 236,993 students.
