Distinguished Professor Named Editor of Academic Journal
Dr. Nikolai G. Wenzel of the Broadwell College of Business and Economics at Fayetteville State University (FSU), is the new editor-in-chief of the Journal of Entrepreneurship and Public Policy. Wenzel is Distinguished Professor of Economics and holds the L.V. Hackley Chair for the Study of Capitalism and Free Enterprise.
Wenzel is the author of almost 50 academic articles and book chapters on institutional economics and political economy, and he is writing a book on the regressive effects of crony capitalism. He is the faculty advisor for the AEI Executive Council, a club affiliated with the American Enterprise Institute (www.aei.org), a Washington, DC think-tank; the Council's students organize campus activities on entrepreneurship and public policy and participate in national training and leadership summits.
The Broadwell College of Business and Economics is strengthening its reputation in entrepreneurship education and research. For more information about the College's entrepreneurship activities, visit www.uncfsu.edu/bcbe or contact Assistant Dean Dr. Burcu Adivar (badivar1@uncfsu.edu).
The Journal of Entrepreneurship and Public Policy is not a mainstream entrepreneurship journal. It is a specialized journal that focuses on the policy space within which entrepreneurs operate, and on the political and social entrepreneurs who attempt to influence policies that affect economic activity.
To submit a paper to the journal, review submissions, or edit a special issue, please contact Wenzel at (nwenzel@uncfsu.edu). Untenured faculty may also submit a paper for presentation (whether related to the journal, or on a separate topic) through the Hackley Research Series, organized by Wenzel. An announcement on the series will follow.
