Fayetteville State University’s Online Criminal Justice Program Ranked No. 10 in the Country
Fayetteville State University’s (FSU) Online Criminal Justice Degree Program is one of the nation’s best, according to The Best Schools. The Best Schools did a ranking of the nation’s top 25 programs and FSU was No. 10 on the list. No other North Carolina institution was ranked.
To be selected, The Best Schools identified the degree programs based on quality and range of courses provided, school awards, rankings and reputation. TheBestSchools.org formulates its rankings based on five informational categories (six, when considering online schools). The major metrics and qualities used for rankings are:

FSU offers several fully online degree completion programs, including a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice that is ideal for students planning to pursue careers in law enforcement. The criminal justice curriculum holds certification from the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and comprises 82 upper-level credit hours. Students earning the online criminal justice degree explore criminological theory, criminal justice ethics, criminal law, police and society, and prisons and society. Available electives include white collar crime; restorative justice; comparative criminal justice; and sex, sexuality, and the law. Graduates often secure positions as police officers, FBI agents, DEA agents, and crime analysts.
