Fayetteville State University Invites Breast Cancer Survivors To “Ball In Pink” Basketball Game
Fayetteville State University (FSU) will host its annual “Ball in Pink” basketball game on Saturday, February 9, 2019, against Johnson C. Smith University. Wear pink and help make a difference.
Universities across the nation are unified together in helping to raise money through an annual basketball game spotlighting breast cancer awareness. This is the 10th year that Fayetteville State University is participating. Game fans can show support of Breast Cancer Awareness by purchasing a candy bar, other gifts items or by making a donation. Student volunteers will be in the stands throughout the game selling items and collecting money. Checks and credit cards will be accepted.
Breast cancer survivors who express interest in attending the game will be given complimentary admission and special seating in the Chancellor's Section. Mrs. Nancy Anderson will host a special reception and recognition ceremony for survivors at the conclusion of the women's game. The women's game begins at 1 p.m.
