Tonya Carter
Tonya is a true Tar Heel fan and native of Fayetteville, NC. After graduating with her ADN she started working as a staff nurse in a local Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit. Over a 9 year period she has gained much experience taking care of the critically ill and became certified as a Critical Care Registered Nurse through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She received her MSN and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. Currently she works as a NP with a Critical Care Intensivist Team at a tertiary teaching hospital.
