Doretha Singley

Lecturer

Mrs. Singley has over 40 years of nursing experience. She has worked in medical -surgical, obstetrical and perioperative nursing to include pre-admission and operating room nursing. She earned her certification in operating room nursing (CNOR) and held leadership positions in military treatment facilities. She has experience in hospital nursing education to include leadership development for staff in new roles.

Mrs. Singley has taught in and enjoys educating nurses in the pre-licensure and RN to BSN programs since her retirement form the Army Nurse Corps more than 15 years ago. As a retired veteran, she has experience with diverse populations and a special interest in military students and family members.
