NC Promise
NC Promise puts earning a bachelor's degree in reach for more students. Fayetteville State University is thrilled to be the state's newest NC Promise school. We know what a difference this will make for the Bronco Family. At FSU, we want you to be focused on building your future, not worried about how to pay for it.
FSU will continue to offer the same high-quality degree programs and the same expansive course catalog. The funding for NC Promise has been awarded to FSU by the State of North Carolina, meaning nothing changes but your budget.
What is NC Promise?
The State of North Carolina established the NC Promise Tuition Plan to increase access to a quality university education by reducing student costs. Universities selected as NC Promise schools are able to offer reduced tuition rates to make earning a college degree more attainable.
Tuition Under NC Promise:
Starting fall 2022, undergraduate tuition at FSU will be:

semester for in-state students
$2,500/
semester for out-of-state students

How to Participate
Apply and be admitted to Fayetteville State University as an undergraduate student. It's as simple as that! No additional application is required for NC Promise.
